Research on Energy Management Strategy of Range Extender Electric Vehicle considering Temperature Effect under Different Heat Demands

In order to further improve the energy utilization of range extender electric vehicle (REEV), management strategy REEV under different heat demands and operating temperatures is studied. Firstly, for reducing extra fuel consumption caused by engine temperature, influence lubricating oil temperature on equivalence factor analyzed, a novel method proposed, which can determine three parameters, including condition type, battery state charge (SOC). Secondly, reduce frequent start/stop consumption, establish penalty based SOC proposed. Finally, rise law low-temperature environment compressor drive mode determination high-temperature are studied according demand ambient temperatures. An adaptive equivalent minimization (ECMS) considering effect proposed basis above research. The simulation worldwide harmonized light test cycle (WLTC) reveals that using ECMS, cost reduced 5.69% in normal environment, 0.53%-2.39% 0.2%-2.01% environment.
